PTH Series – Open-Mouth Bagging Machine
Developed by Premier Tech Chronos, the PTH Series Open-Mouth Bagging Machine is a unique solution designed for bagging all types of free-flowing materials using laminated polywoven, polyethylene and paper bags. It is a semi-automatic open-mouth bagger whose modular design can easily be fully automated with the integration of ANDY, a robotic bag transfer unit that allows the PTH Series Open-Mouth Bagging Machine to reach up to 20 BPM. The PTH Series Open-Mouth Bagger has a bag placer that takes the bag from a stack and opens it using a vacuum blower. Spacers enter the bag to open the gussets for optimum filling. The bag is then placed on the spout for the filling process and is finally transferred onto a closing conveyor. This transfer is made by a human with the semi-automatic version and by ANDY with the fully automatic version.
